each guest chooses pottery from the entire studio selection!
the main difference between the package parties & this group-like party is the pottery selection
- choose pottery from anywhere in the studio with a possible percentage discount instead of choosing from the birthday selection
& the birthday honoree gets a gift (logo t-shirt or bag) from meg-art 🎉
important note:
pottery discounts start at 8 people in attendance & read the info below about the pottery spend minimums!!
this meg-art party package is offered:
open hours:
everyday at noon
monday - friday at 6:15pm
friday also 8:15pm & 10:15pm
private times (before we open or after we close)
everyday 10am
monday - thursday & saturday 8:15pm
sunday 5:30pm, 7:30pm
- $20 party fee is required at time of booking
how our meg-a pottery painting parties work:
🥳 1.5 hours of party time fun
🥳 arrive 5-10 minutes early to bring in food/decorations
- open hours parties will have limited table space depending on the time booked & how busy the studio is/becomes!!
- we can supply a tablecloth to make it look festive, or you may provide your own, just let us know when you arrive if you'd like to use one of ours
- any table decorations are welcome, but please, no pinata's - they are not pottery friendly - or confetti! haha
- bring your own cake, cake supplies & drinks - byob 🍺🍷
also, feel free to bring food - we are cool with whatever you'd like to serve, as long as you share, lol.
- meg-art staff will be there to assist with as much or as little as you wish
- the birthday honoree can choose a gift from meg-art 🎁 or a party fee credit 💰
discounts & more info (only for groups with 8+people):
- the birthday honoree will get 1 pottery piece discounted the percentage of their age (at least 20%)
& each party guest may choose their own pottery to paint and will receive a 0-15% off*!
if the birthday celebrant is a vip 🫶🏽,
the birthday honoree will get 1 pottery piece discounted the percentage of their age (at least 30%)
& every guest at the party will receive 0-20% off*!
*% discount may vary depending on the minimum pottery spend being met for either open hours or before/after hours bookings

*NOTE: minimum spend for parties:
private parties must spend $350+ in pottery, it's that easy!!
open hours parties = number of guests (minimum 8) x $25
(example: if you have 8 guests, your pottery must come to $200+)
if your open hour party ends up with less than 8 people or less than the minimum pottery spend, no worries 😉
you'll still have the best party, just without any pottery discounts
& you will get the party fee credited or you may still take the meg-art gift 🎁
*meg-art group party discount:
(to be calculated at the time of the group if your group is at least 8 people & meets the minimum pottery spend)
# pottery items ᐧ regular rate ᐧ birthday honoree is a vip rate
8 to 14 = 5% off ᐧ 10% off
15 to 24 = 10% off ᐧ 15% off
25+ = 15% off ᐧ 20% off
our max number of painters for a birthday party during open hours is 20
(except for the friday night slots which is 12)
if you book a private time (before or after open hours),
you can have up to 50 people!
let us know when you arrive how you'd like to handle the payment of your party
- some parties pay individually & some are paid in full by one guest,
we can figure it however you'd like 👍🏽
want to stay longer than 1½ hours
- ask if it's possible for your booked time or to extend it during your party if it's possible?
extra studio time is $90/hour for private parties
(charged in 15 minute increments at $22.50each) 🎉
open hours parties can stay over if we are still open but if you stay past closing time,
the $90/hour fee will apply and the $350 minimum pottery spend must be met
since it will then turn private.
